The Sculpted Ritual: Prep to Aftercare
Every tan begins before your appointment and continues long after, guided by how you care for your skin. Follow these refined steps to elevate your experience and extend the life of your glow.✧ Pre-Tan Care — Prepare the Canvas
To ensure a smooth, even tan that wears like second skin:48–24 Hours Before:Exfoliate thoroughly using a natural scrub or mitt (no use of dove soaps, oils, or heavy moisturizers). Remove any unwanted hair (waxing/shaving) at least 24 hours before your appointment to allow pores to settle.Day of Appointment:Arrive with clean, dry skin—free from jewelry, deodorant, lotions, perfumes, and makeup. These can act as barriers and affect your tan’s absorption. Skip oils and rich moisturizers the day of your tan, but lightly moisturize dry areas (elbows, knees, ankles) the night before if needed. Wear loose, dark clothing and avoid tight undergarments. Avoid sweating or getting wet before your first rinse.✧ Post-Tan Care — Extend the GlowYour tan will develop over 2–10 hours, depending on the formulation selected. You will be advised of your exact rinse time at your session.Your First Rinse:Rinse gently with lightly warm water only for 45 seconds —no soap, no scrubs, no loofahs.
Pat your skin dry with a soft towel—no rubbing.The Days That Follow:Avoid chlorinated pools, steam rooms, and long hot showers, which may prematurely fade your tan. Use a natural, oil-free moisturizer daily—hydrated skin retains color longer. When bathing, choose a gentle, sulfate-free cleanser and avoid exfoliating until you’re ready for your next session.
Limit shaving to avoid early fading—use a fresh razor with light pressure and glide.⏳ Tan Longevity
Depending on your formula (rapid or standard) and how well you care for your skin, your tan will typically last 7–14 days. With proper care, it will fade evenly and beautifully—just like it was sculpted to.Luxury doesn’t stop at application—it lives in the details. Treat your tan like a ritual, and your glow will reward you.
